Qml item state undefined

I'm working on a info screen application done in Qml that will be run on a Raspberry Pi. I'm doing the main coding on the desktop and everything runs well.

On the Pi I'm using a self build of Qt 5.4.2 and it worked very well, until yesterday that is. Suddenly I got no display of my info slides. Strange thing, it worked perfeclt fine before.

After a good bit of cursing I found that my Image didn't show, because for some odd reason the binding of

visible: root.state=='rotating'

was evaluated as false. Well, how the hell is that possible was the next question. And debug output of the state randomly said "undefined", eh ?? WTF!?

What I don't understand is how it suddenly crept up as I've used states before too in my app. Anyway, it turns out that it is a known bug (QTBUG-41649) in gcc-4.6 on arm that miss compiles a specific file in the Qml library.

 Fix applied and all seems well. I hope.

My dream ARM board

They are all very lovely, the small and teenytiny ARM boards that are available these days. I have a bunch of my own, a Raspberry Pi A and two Bs and also a BeagleBone.

But, what I'm wishing for is a ATX or mATX board, that would fit into a standard ATX case and use preferably a standard ATX power supply. And have 4-6 SATA ports and DDR1/2/3 memory expansion sockets. I couldn't care less for HDMI or GPU. And of course be affordable, like the tiny ones. Basically something like this, old EB110ATX board, but a modern version with a more current CPU and expansion.

Anyone?

Wine 1.3.4 on arm (N900)

After reading the announcement of wine 1.3.4 and particularly this on winehq: "Winelib now supports the ARM platform" I just had to try it.

Builds fine in sbox, no problems there. Initial run takes a while of clicking on cancel as winedbg crashes but after that the built in programs runs, but the window manager is not doing such a great job with the wine windows and dialogs.

Screenshots of winemine below:

Update 15.10.2010:
Using desktop mode makes using wine much nicer and keyboard input works too. Running winecfg is a bit problematic as it won't fit the screen properly but editing ~/.wine/user.reg and adding the following lines in the end enables desktop mode:
[Software\\Wine\\Explorer] 1287126526
"Desktop"="Default"

[Software\\Wine\\Explorer\\Desktops] 1287126530
"Default"="800x480"
